Lyrics
She Loves Herself
When she looks in the mirror, when she combs her hair.
You know that she can’t help it, she just lovers herself.
When you are with her, you’re really alone.
She won’t let you get close, she’s like a stone.
She’s telling you lies, leading you astray.
Kissing her picture, day after day.
Hurting you all the time, holding you in sway.
When she looks in the mirror, when she combs her hair.
You know that she can’t help it, she just lovers herself.
When you are with her, you’re really alone.
She won’t let you get close, she’s like a stone.
She’s telling you lies, leading you astray.
Kissing her picture, day after day.
When she loves herself, when she loves herself.
When she loves herself, when she loves herself.
Kieth and the Squiddz
Keith and the Squiddz live at the beach. They love surfing, they love the heat.
Keith and the Squiddz, Keith and the Squiddz.
They live at the beach. They do what they want.
Bleached white hair. Dark, dark skin.
Keith is the leader of the gang. He tells the other Squiddz where to hang.
Keith and the Squiddz, Keith and the Squiddz.
Surfing is so neat. The beat is in their feet.
Rockabilly Hull, helps em through it all.
Surfing is so neat. The beat is in their feet.
Rockabilly Hull, helps em through it all.
Keith and the Squiddz, Keith and the Squiddz.
Keith and the Squiddz, Keith and the Squiddz.
Goodbye Keith. Say hi to the Squiddz for me. See ya later.
She Changed Her Mind
A lot of things that happen to me, too many things, my eyes see.
I’m leaving behind this world of mine, the friends and problems in my mind.
She said, “It’s you.” I said, “Me too.”
We drove all around, and now I’m feeling down.
Cuz, she changed her mind.
I don’t know exactly what went wrong, but I was hoping it would last kinda long.
Cuz now I’m alone, I don’t know why. I hurt all over and I’m empty inside.
Cuz, she changed her mind.
She changed her mind. She changed her mind.
She changed her mind. She changed her mind.
No Spies in London
Standing near the Thames with my back to the water, trying to cope with the world.
London Bridge in the background looming, living with an English girl.
I was dreaming. Do what I wanted.
No spies in London. No spies in London.
Modern men and setback girls, with their noses in the air.
Too busy to notice my picture in the paper, wanted dead or alive.
They’re all out to tea. They’re dreaming.
No spies in London. No spies in the UK. No spies in London.
A fast lane life where few get by, pretty lingerie in Birmingham.
Sweet little girls to coat your mind, pretty, soft English hair.
No spies in London. No spies in the UK. No spies in London. Gonna fool em all.
EP Story
The Nuclear Boyz took the energy (and cash) from their live shows—plus a little help from their die-hard fans—to craft a killer four-song EP packed with fan favorites. But picking just four tracks? That was no easy task! After some serious debate, the final lineup was set: “She Loves Herself,” “Keith and the Squiddz,” “She Changed Her Mind,” and “No Spies in London.”
Stepping into a professional recording studio for the first time, the boys were buzzing with excitement. This was their big moment! And they made it count—each track was laid down in a single electrifying take, mixed, mastered, and ready for pressing all in the same day. A whirlwind session, an unforgettable experience, and a record that would forever capture their unique, high-energy sound.
Reactor Records Original EP
The Reactor Records EP was the first EP the Nuclear Boyz recorded and produced. It was 1981 and the band hit the studio in the Hollywood Hills to lay down 4 of their most popular songs. The result? A 7-inch, 33 ⅓ RPM powerhouse—edgy, real, and rocking. A limited number of EP’s we produced from that recording session, making them hot collector’s items today. If you can get your hands on one, consider yourself lucky—this EP still commands top dollar and remains a must-have treasure for die-hard fans!
